Learning About God - Scratch & Dent
Teach kindergarteners more about God’s work and character as they study the lives of major Bible characters. Stories and lessons highlight biblical doctrines, scriptural principles, and character traits.
Children need to start their spiritual journey with a clear, scriptural understanding of who God is. Thankfully, through His Word, God shows us who He is and how He works, and He does this in the context of people’s lives. Learning About God highlights what we can learn about God through characters like Adam, Eve, Abraham, Moses, Daniel, Paul, and, most importantly, Jesus Christ.
Teachers will find tools to help summarize the primary message of the Bible story and provide a clear biblical context. Classroom discussions, new vocabulary, and Scripture memory offer additional avenues of learning to deepen the educational experience.
Student exercises and activities present creative ways to reinforce the lesson, while also supplying additional educational opportunities like puzzles, mazes, sequencing, and cut-and-paste crafts.
Through the Character Trait Activities, students will be encouraged and equipped to practically live in ways that magnify Christ—applying God’s truth to everyday situations.
